About the Department
The Bowling Green Fire Department is located adjacent to Bowling Green City Hall.
The department is staffed by 15 part-time firefighters, including one paramedic and three first responders.
The Bowling Green Fire Department is responsible for providing an efficient and effective delivery of fire, medical, rescue, and life safety emergency services within the City limits.
The Fire Department also strives to improve the quality of life for City residents by providing public education and ongoing training for firefighters.
The primary goals of the Fire Department are to:

- Improve the outcome of patients
- Quickly rescue trapped victims
