Communications

The Bowling Green Police Department has a Dispatch Center that operates around the clock.  The Center is responsible for the dispatch of police officers to all calls for service and assists in the dispatch of Fire and Ambulance equipment.  The unit handles all telephone calls and walk-ins, the visual and audio monitoring of all prisoners in custody, and the inputting of all data into CADS (Computer Automated Dispatch System).

Records Division

The Records Division is responsible for maintaining daily incident reports, assisting the public in obtaining police reports, state mandated reporting of DWI's, accidents, racial profiling and Uniform Crime Reports. Police report requests can be made Monday through Thursday between the hours of 8 am and 3 pm at the Bowling Green Police Department, 15 W. Church Street. There is no charge for police reports, with the exception of accident reports for which there is a $5.00 charge.
