Weather in Bowling Green

As you know, City Hall has been closed to the public since late March. At that time, the Aldermen opted not to charge late fees and penalties for non-payment of city utilities due to COVID-19 issues. On Monday, April 27, Governor Parsons announced that Missouri would start reopening in phases.

City Hall will remain closed to the public possibly until mid-May. If you have urgent business that cannot be taken care of over the phone, on-line or via email, please call us at 573-324-5451 and we will be glad to work something out.

Starting in June, all payment due dates will return to normal.  Any payment received after the 10th of the month will be subject to a 5% late fee. All bills not paid before the 21st day of the billing month shall be declared delinquent and a non-payment fee of $35 shall be assessed to the account and service will be disconnected. Service will not be turned back on until payment in full is received. Any, and all, financial agreements on delinquent accounts shall be made for no longer than three months with the approval of the Mayor and/or City Administrator. Any arrangements for longer terms must be approved by the Board of Aldermen.

If you have any questions, please call 573-324-5451.
